LAKE MARY, FL. January 14, 2020: U.S.-owned TEAM International, a leading provider of IT and software development outsourcing services, announces it has recently achieved a total of eight Microsoft gold and silver partnership competencies.
TEAM is now a Microsoft gold partner in six competencies (Application Development, Data Analytics, Data Platform, Datacenter, Application Integration, and DevOps) and a silver partner in two competencies (Small and Midmarket Cloud Solutions, and Windows and Devices).
To earn Microsoft gold and silver partnership competencies, partners must prove their expertise and experience through a combination of technical exams, successful customer references, performance (revenue and or consumption/usage) commitments (for most gold competencies), and technology and/or sales assessments.
“This new all-time record for TEAM demonstrates our best-in-class expertise in Microsoft technologies and our deep commitment to meeting the evolving and increasingly complex needs of our clients,” says Sergiy Povolyashko, CIO, CTO and leader of the Microsoft partnerships initiative at TEAM International. “It also represents our strong support for the on-going professional development of our talented IT and software development staff.”
Mr. Povolyashko organizes the initiative and coordinates with both clients and TEAM’s staff members to understand which competencies are most important to focus on based on the needs of current and potential future projects.
More than 40 of TEAM’s employees have actively participated in the initiative, receiving full support from the company to prepare for and pass the required exams and certifications for each competency. On average, each of these employees has completed and passed 2-3 exams and/or certifications that evaluate their knowledge and abilities in specific areas of focus. Their commitment and expert knowledge have helped TEAM quickly and successfully meet the requirements for the eight gold and silver partnerships.
According to Mr. Povolyashko, in 2020 TEAM will focus on maintaining these eight partnerships by renewing existing exams and certifications as well as encouraging even more TEAM employees to get involved. In addition, the company plans to elevate at least one of the current silver partnerships to gold status and work towards achieving a gold partnership in the Cloud Platform competency.
