May 10, 2008 - TEAM International enters the final stage of CMMI certification.
In May 2008 TEAM International enters the final stage of maturity integration in compliance with the requirements of Level 3 of CMMI (Capability Maturity Model Integration) methodology. The company started making its first steps in the way of CMMI implementation one year ago.
In the frames of integration of CMMI procedures TEAM strives to reach the following goals:
1. To eliminate chaos associated with software development and to create ordered, but flexible systems allowing TEAM to use employees’ time and capabilities in a rational way.
2. To increase customer satisfaction rates and to prevent employees’ under- and overutilization by supplying them with new tasks and appropriate material rewards.
3. To improve business processes and to expand the sphere of provided services as well as the client geography. This will allow exploring of new horizons for professional and cultural growth of employees.
Over a one-year period the following results have been achieved:
1) All internal business processes were created with consideration of the world’s best practices. More than 50% of the staff was involved in the creation process, which allowed each second employee to feel part of the change and creation of a new corporate culture.
2) The connections between different project-related and organizational processes were identified

and the system to manage these processes was developed. This allowed each employee to be part of the single mechanism, to feel more self-assured and to have a clear understanding of his/her duties, dependencies and responsibilities.
3) All major processes were optimized with consideration of their practical application. These processes were tried and improved on pilot projects. It allowed the company to create a precedent of standard procedures’ adaptation to project needs and to provide employees with better options to express their creativity and grow the results of their brainstorming.
4) Roles and tasks expanding mental abilities and increasing employees’ professional level were identified.
TEAM currently integrates an established system of business processes as well as renovated organizational infrastructure including all IT projects and involving all company’s employees. TEAM conducts internal training and audits on a regular basis during which new ideas and new staff development opportunities emerge. TEAM encourages initiative and will join the international list of CMMI Level 3 certified companies by early June 2008. This list represents companies with mature and well managed business and organizational processes.
