Our Client is a leader in software and support for the global staffing industry, with headquarters in the United Kingdom and offices worldwide. Their core product is client-server contact management software, fully integrated with the Internet, which is very robust and configurable to end-client specifications. The product enables recruitment and consulting companies to trace the entire recruitment cycle, from Sales call to placement. The Third Party, one of Our Client’s clients, is a Fortune Global 500 company and the global leader in Human Resources services that delivers an unparalleled range of flexible staffing and career resources to clients and associates.

The Challenge
Our Client needed its main database product to be adjusted and configured to the business needs and technical requirements of its client, The Third Party.

The Solution
Our Client chose to use the Offsite Development Center contract model and to offload the configuration task to its long-term offshoring partner – TEAM International. For more effective facilitation of the project initiation, collection of most critical requirements and employment of the initial stages of the execution phase, TEAM’s

The Approach
After preliminary negotiations it was decided that test driven SDLC model will be used. TEAM was to prepare and keep up-to-date the following project documentation: specifications, test documentation, mapping document for data transfer. TEAM was to follow Code Convention Standards document during configuration work. Iterative approach was applied on the project. Each logical unit was to be tested and approved by the client upon completion.
