Realizing that people are our main assets, TEAM International is continuously focused on staff development initiatives. Since TEAM’s key goal is to retain the best-of-the-best IT and non-IT personnel, out leadership puts considerable effort into continuous development of its employees. TEAM’s training department offers employees a broad range of self-development options such as: subscriptions to online learning materials and webinars, online certification courses and workshops, and internal and external trainings conducted by the local specialists and overseas experts.
In the field of external training, TEAM has a long-term relationship with “Perspectiva”, Kharkov’s leading personnel management agency. In the framework of this cooperation, several important staff development trainings were introduced to TEAM’s associates in the past few months. These trainings included telemarketing, motivation, and team management; these trainings proved to be an effective way to contribute in the company-wide staff development strategy.
In the field of internal training, TEAM employs two full-time and one part-time ESL (English as a second language) teachers who provide all staff members with weekly

English lessons to improve their language and business communication skills. Also, TEAM has a long-standing tradition of holding a unique weekly event called Friday Movie Night. Each week a group of twelve TEAM employees is selected to take part in the evening film show.
All films are featured in the original language (English) and are selected based on the majority of viewers’ preferences. Friday Movie Night proved to be an excellent offsite event with a great team-building effect. It is a very good example of how after-work fun can be successfully used for staff development and team spirit enhancement.
TEAM never imposes trainings on its employees; it is up to the staff to decide whether to attend them or not. However, due to the fact that knowledge presents opportunities for self-improvement and career growth, our staff is always willing to attend.
