Kharkiv Institute of Information Technologies held seminar in cooperation with TEAM International.
On October 16-18 Kharkiv Institute of Information Technologies in cooperation with TEAM International held the Inaugural International Project Management Seminar. This event was organized in through the partnership of KhIIT and Project Management Institute, PMI®.
Project Management Institute, PMI®, is a non-commercial organization, which aims at promoting and developing Project management in different countries in the world. PMI® develops standards in various spheres of project management, organizes conferences and seminars, educational programs and professional PMI certification programs.
Seminars were conducted by both Ukrainian and foreign specialists in Project Management. The Ukrainian lecturers are experienced professionals in the sphere of project management.

Chris Walton, vice-president of Team International, were specially invited to share their experiences on some issues of PM with the PMI Week participants.
The audience included representatives of Ukrainian companies working in the spheres of IT, construction, logistics, finance and banking.
The Program Management week long program included three seminars. The first seminar was devoted to principles and methods of effective project management based on the international standard of project management (PMBOK® 2004). The second seminar covered peculiarities of managing international projects, problems which occur and possible solutions. At the third seminar the lecturers presented speeches and discussions on the following aspects: human resources management, the social and psychological factors which influence the effectiveness of the enterprise, methods and means of team development in project environment. TEAM International management consider project management practice and skill development crucially important for future progress of outsourcing in Ukraine. This recent International Project Management Seminar offering in Kharkiv is hopefully just a first step in the process of continued offerings of International Project Management training and experience sharing to the Ukrainian business community.
