Planning to Reach Maturity Level 3 By End of First Quarter of 2008
CMMI (Capability Maturity Model Integrated) is a demanding process improvement model developed by the SEI (Software Engineering Institute/Carnegie Mellon University) for assessing a company's software engineering capability and processes maturity. Companies applying for CMMI Level 3-5 are considered to be the most qualified and reliable IT-solution suppliers providing clients with high quality products and having a proper management culture. A proper management culture, as determined by the SEI, means that all company’s teams and departments work in collaborative cooperation and all company’s business processes are managed in a uniform and compatible manner.
