Feb 13, 2006 - TEAM International Software Team Leader Trains in Florida
The next step in the global training program launched by TEAM International management has been taken. The training program is designed to ensure every employee TEAM International has up to date training in their area of specialization and in standard business practices.
On January 29, 2006, three specialists from TEAM International in Ukraine went to Corporate Headquarters in Lake Mary, Florida for advanced professional training focused on improving their managerial skills.
Anatoly S., a Software Team Leader from TEAM International, was back in Kharkiv on February 10. After the intensive training in the corporate internal processes, he now has a clearer idea of how the projects carried out by TEAM International in Kharkiv are administered from the TEAM Information office in Lake Mary. In communicating with the TEAM Information managers and customers, Anatoly was able to see the other side of the communication processes he was familiar with between TEAM Info and TEAM International. The experience he has gained is of great importance for him as a Team Leader, as he is designing improved communications processes between the Kharkiv IT team and the managers in the US office, as well as between the Kharkiv team and their US customers.
During the two weeks that he spent at Florida Corporate Headquarters, Anatoly continued to manage his normal projects and his Kharkiv team’s work. He was consequently able to see the project flow from a different angle, which will no doubt contribute to his ability to successfully manage his team’s projects.
Anatoly also focused on internal time management within a project. As he stated, “One of the first things we could adopt from our American colleagues is their ability to distribute the time of the working day. Being at the TEAM Info Florida office I felt that rigid “mechanism” that organizes the work for the whole day. I am going to use the experience of my trip with the most profit for the work of my team.”
